Handy little lunch spot on Adelaide St, doing an absolutely roaring lunchtime trade! I ordered the karaage chicken bowl (what else with a store name like that!). Despite the massive crowd, service was very quick & efficient. My karaage bowl was good without being great, and the price was fairly standard for a city lunch ($10). Worth a visit, especially if you work nearby.

I’ve had hits and misses with this place. Don’t order chicken karaage in the evening before they close. Ordered chicken karaage and they brought it out in 2 minutes. Seemed like they just gave me leftovers. The rice was still warm but the chicken was not. I had to heat it up in the microwave for 30 seconds. The outside coating of the chicken wasn’t crispy but completely soggy. Felt like eating weird slimy mush with my chicken and rice. Changed my rating from 2 stars to 1 star because I felt sick after eating half of it.

I did go here quite often to order the Karaage bowl, until the last couple of times where i found the chicken has lost quality and has been mostly fat, some pieces were just skin, which was gross. Really disappointing as I love Karaage.
