Service was very slow though friendly. Meals very staggered. We had a large group (11) and understand it’s difficult to give meals at same time. Asked for a low spiced meal option. Was suggested the fajita . Was the spiciest meal anyone had at our table. Unfortunately when I informed staff the response was “I’lI tell the other staff”. No compensation for being unable to eat the meal other than the lettuce. And it was the most expensive than item on the menu.

Not impressed. Meals took 1 hour to come out with an empty restaurant. No kids meals came out! So we had cranky kids which then made it all even more stressful. Meals were greasy and tasteless. Service wasn’t great. Saving grace was the mocktails were tasty and the dress up hats were fun to dress up in whilst we waited forever for our food. Seemed to be extremely understaffed with 1 chef, and two wait staff. One of which was on his first shift ever. We won’t be returning.

Had dinner here last night. Everything was quality and very enjoyable. Staff were relaxed and made you feel welcome. Sitting on the back deck did feel like a bad choice, would suggest screening off the carpark and a bit of landscaping just to complete the rest of the place. But we will be back.

We have enjoyed our visits here. The food is fine. I guess this is as close to “authentic” Mexican food as you are likely to find in Queensland. The staff are helpful and while the prices are a bit high, that’s kinda what you expect in a tourist spot. The place is popular enough with tourists and locals alike. I think the locals come more for a Mexican beer or a sangria in a shady spot. I don’t think you will go too far wrong with a visit here.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Worst food! Worst service! Not authentic Mexican food and WAY WAY WAY to expensive for what it is. Young unprofessional cooks and wait staff. I’ve given this place way to many “second chances” and it seems to get worse every time I try.

The worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. I am not even exaggerating when I say the rice in our burritos was not even cooked. It dried hard and granular.. Feral! I should have heeded the warning signs when the waitresses were pronouncing tortilla literally as it reads in english.. Another lady called them Mexican white flour breads.. serves were expensive, small, and inauthentic. Had a table of 10 so we tried just about everything on the menu and disappointed all round. The cheese for the fajitas was literally bought grated tasty cheese and the salsa was also clearly bought. NEVER AGAIN!

Best Mexican in the area. Highly recommended everything on the menu but the beef burrito is my favorite. Also their guacamole is incredible and pricing cheaper than what you’d expect. 80 dollars for 2 entre’s, 3 mains and a desert that filled all 3 of us.

This is the worst meal I have ever had in the Northern Rivers area. The manager was surly to the point of being rude, the food was overcooked and looked as though it had been simply dumped onto our plates. I will never eat here again. Lift your attitude, service and quality.
