Spring rolls entree very nice. Salt and pepper pork spare ribs were great. Combination chow mein was really tasty. Fried rice nice and fresh. It was recommended and we thought it was great food.

My wife and I were both disappointed with our meals. My massaman curry was truly awful. The beef was thinly sliced and was like rubber. The team sauce was runny and quite unlike any massaman I’ve ever had. My wife’s chow main also had rubbery meat and the rice was badly overcooked.

We went to this restaurant and expecting a westernised chinese and we are very happy with the quality of food. We ordered sweet and sour pork, lemon chicken and stir fried mix vegetables. The sweet and sour pork is just a classic westernised dish- nothing to comment about. The lemon chicken has 2 crumbed brest fillets, deep fried and chopped in big pieces topped with lemon sauce – very happy with quality of this dish. Mix vegetables has the typical cheap veges like broccoli, carrots, baby corns, beans cauliflower, etc. The serving is just right for the price, not big but certainly not small. This is good food for a country town like Dubbo. I think it’s a bit unrealistic to expect authentic Chinese here, because China is very big and chinese cuisines are very diverse. You have to specify which part/city of Chinese food you are looking for. And if you only cater for a specialised Chinese food, the local may not understand/appreciate it and they will be out of business as they don’t have enough customers to survive. From what I can see, there are a few locals that eat there and a few take aways. I would certainly come back to eat here again. They are also very good at social distancing. All staff wears masks as well.
