I had no complaints whatsoever with everything at this fish & chips shop, however last night it was a busy night for the staff (2 Seniors one the Manager & about 5 teenagers) I ordered my usual of 2 battered coral trout & a small serve of chips, when ready to eat them we found they were not hot at all but luke warm. I phoned the Manager who was a little disgruntled due to the fact I complained about the food, she told me that I was whinging and that the food was in the hot box waiting for collection. I had my number for the order & when called I collected, so I do not know what happened to the food on this occasion. I did not like her attitude towards me. She told me to collect the same order anytime (as she would place my details in her credit book) for the inconvenience however this left a sour taste in my mouth.

Huge meal, the ocean trout was delicious as were the calamari rings, the young man was helpful & pleasant, definitely will return next time I have a fish & chip craving. Their burgers are to die for, probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had

Love the way it’s run. Clean concise instructions from the manager (owner?) And reclarification from the staff cooking. Food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Fish melted in ur mouth, loaded fries were to die for and the burgers were bigger than expected which was good.all very filling and would def go there again. 🙂

Well here is another good example of fish and chips in the local areas of Gladstone. Very hard to find these days but the food was cooked well and fairly fast. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Couldn’t ask for much more than that when buying your lunch. It is handy to get to and plenty of parking spaces. Order more chips than you need though as servings are small. Cheers big ears
