Worst flake I’ve ever had tonight 17.1.2023. Fish was Dry and the Batter was hard and not with a soft crunch. Potato cake had minimal potato in it and it was mostly just hard batter. They’ve definitely dropped the ball as they used to be really good with the food. If you’re going to charge premium prices then step up to the plate.amd give the public decent food.

We have always ordered through McIvor Rd but lately it’s hit and miss. Our last 3 orders were only luke warm and very soggy. Our kids used to beg for fish and chips for dinner but now winge when they know it’s on the way. We occasionally get home delivery and they now beg for Subway, KFC or Eagle pizza because they are sick of bad soggy food from McIvor Rd

Went to the park with the family to enjoy fish & chips from McIvor Rd, very disappointing, initially poor communication, some of the fish & potato cakes were inedible & binned, chips average leaving family of 5 hungry. Expect variations in quality from different businesses but to be served food that is inedible is unacceptable.

Their Dim Sims are under cooked and rather yuk. Tonight we stood waiting for our simple order for almost an hour whilst they kept serving Uber drivers large orders. I waited so long, my wife left the car and started walking home. I wouldn’t go back. It’s not worth the wait.

I’m not one to leave reviews often, but tonight we experienced probably the worst Fish & Chips of my life. Extremely dry/leathery fish that smelled like cat food, a sav in batter that was like rubber and chips that tasted and felt like cardboard.

Thought we would try the local. Waited an hour for our meal. Hadn’t started to make it when we arrived 20 minutes after ordering online. Went in 20 minutes later and they forgot the burger. Waited another 20 minutes, walked up and asked how it was going and the burger had been sitting in the bain-marie for ten minutes. So by this stage chips were soggy. No salt and fish was cold.
