The best bakery food with friendly staff! Can get really busy at lunch but it’s worth the wait. McCues Bakery are known for their savoury slice which is my favourite. There is a great selection of pastries. They have a massive drinks fridge. They also do coffee!

Never again. I had 2 experiences with this bakery. Friend bought a selection of savoury & sweet selection from this store. Cakes were delicious. I’m more of a savoury lover and had half a pastie since it was so big.… pastry was light & delcious however it was very, very peppery & I love pepper, but not this much where I couldn’t taste the rest of the ingredients. My husband struggled through his half out of politeness.

The absolute worst pies I have ever had anywhere. I had a potato pie but 1 bite in the bottom pastry was entirely raw, then the second bite the filling was ice cold. I took it back & ask if I could get another and the staff were fabulously kind. 2nd time I got a mushroom (they decided to pull the remaining potato pies from sale) and it was dreadful (albeit cooked). Zero flavour and doughy pastry. Genuinely dreadful.

Nice airconditioning inside with plenty of tables. Outside tables too. Had Cheese Kransky which was spicy and a fruit mince pastry with icing which was delicious. Lots of staff equalled quick service once we decided what to get.
