I went their with my family for a celebration and the space was beautiful! It has such cultural decor and is very spacious. When we were about to order too much food the staff were kind enough to let us know that they portions are very genorous and that we didn’t actually have to order a lot to be satisfied! They were very kind and polite and the food was very delicious and filling! Such a beautiful restaurant with deliciously authentic Indian food! Definitely a must go restaurant!

Wow, the service was excellent but even more important was the delicious food. As an avid eater of this cuisine our family was delighted with the flavour it surpassed expectations. This restaurant was recommended by a local bus driver. The food provided a dance in the most positive ways on your taste buds. Our family had an entree and several other dishes for the main. We finished off by ordering more for a takeout for lunch the next day. Too good to walk away from. It really was the best Indian I’ve eaten.

Upon booking there was no advise that it was one bill per table, if when being sat nothing was said. Upon paying we had the worst customer service from the manager. He was so difficult to deal with when wanting to split costs for our small group. Only 4 people paid and that was still very hard for him to split bill. He stuffed up our payments on purpose to prove to us that it was too difficult for him to do his job and on top of that he rudely said he will do if it was too hard for us and wasn’t happy about it. Mate, that’s your job to do not ours. We have been everywhere in Cairns and not one restaurant had an issue with splitting bills between 4 people. It was at the end of the night and there was no customers left so he had no excuse. Just pure laziness. Very inconvenient and also we weren’t told that when made the booking. Food was nice but definitely made us go to the toilet all night and on the expensive side compared to other Indian restaurants in Cairns.

Went for dinner tonight. Fancy a restaurant where an owner gets involved to see every needs of yours starting from a welcome, getting us seated, taking orders, serving drinks, asking if the food was ok and saying a great thanks when leaving. All personnel at the restaurant have been great looking after us. Atmosphere here is great with historic paintings on the wall. Ask for the history if you do not know the history behind it. Now comes the food. We ordered goat Rogan josh and Palaak paneer, tandoori roti and naan. Such great food and so much like what tastes like in India. Try it out. You will love it. We will always go back and recommend that to family and friends
