Pizza was very very oily. Oiliest pizza I have ever had. Almost like it was deep fried. We never received a drink with the order. The delivery guy said they ran out of drinks however once I rang the store they sent out a drink. Pizza was tasteless from the amount of oil on it. I re edited the post as I got food poisoning from it also stuck in the motel while on holiday…..just great. There’s a lot better pizza out there. Avoid Marie’s!!

We brought 3 pizza’s last night and the 2 small ones were not to bad according to the ladies that had them. Very hard to tell the difference between ham and cheese / and the Aussie pizza. I had a medium beef and onion and it was the worst pizza I have ever eaten. It was so oily and greasy when you picked it up too eat it the toppings slid off the crust SUCH A WASTE OF MONEY.

This was my first time ordering pizza from Marie’s Mermaid Beach I ordered the large chicken $17.90, my first impression when I picked it up is it looked small for a large. I got it home and was happy to see it was very hot. The pizza itself was over sweet and fairly oily. There was very little chicken and somehow I was expecting better in presentation instead of crusty cheese covering everything, the service was excellent upon pick up and very friendly.

We ordered the gluten free pizzas from mermaid and they were uneatable. They were so undercooked to the point where we waited an hour to eat to the have to cook. $60 down the drain. Looking at the reviews I was a little worried about coming here but actually had a really good experience. Staff were super helpful with the order and we only had to wait 20 mins for 2x pizzas – they were hot and yum for takeaway pizza. I had the Chicken, Avo, Ranch and my partner had the Ham & Pineapple. Overall good experience. Would buy again

Pizzas were generous as usual, the young employee was professional and friendly. BIG gripe, though was the older lady working in the store, bending over pizzas, her hair loose hanging over pizzas, watched her move her hair off her face with the gloved hand……ate my pizza watching out for hair…..yuck! Could be enough not to return which is sad.

Saturday: Ordered a pizza via DOORDASH and rang the store to confirm the order. The store sent a completely wrong order (a pizza I could not eat) (after waiting for an hour). Spoke to 3 staff to explain including the manager. They couldn’t have cared less. Didn’t even bother to offer to send the correct pizza. Manager said oh we just made a mistake.
