Got 2 large pizzas – a supremo and a mild pepperoni takeaway $24 each and really wanted to like them since this restaurant is near my house. Very disappointed, dry floury crust with black burnt edges and the topping was so sparse and lacking flavour, where was the cheese? And a bitter aftertaste from the tomato paste. We all agreed they were the worst pizzas we have ever had. And then just when we thought we had put the bad experience behind us, we had stomach upsets and diarrhoea numerous times overnight. Never again.

We showed up last night without reservation (and with our little dog) and even though they were busy they accommodated us without issue. I had the lamb gnocchi and my husband had the supremo pizza. It was some of the best Italian food we have ever tasted!

We originally come from Sydney where every pizza and every pasta is the same with slight variations depending on who you order from. I’ve gone back to Margherita Pizzeria twice so far, just to try a different pasta the pastas are amazing, they don’t look like your traditional gnocchi’s or fettuccine’s and taste even better than it looks. I have honestly only had pasta as good as this in Europe. It’s well worth a try
