How does a bakery burn their products so often? This time it was a house cake but quite often it will be their loaves or rolls which are displayed on the back wall. I’ve had ‘fresh’ salad rolls out of the fridge with slimy lettuce. Silly me keeps going back. About the only thing going for them is being in a central location in the Main Street and it’s the only place open after noon on the weekends.

Best bakery around. My family always makes a point of stopping here. I highly recommend the sausage rolls, fresh vanilla slice and the jam donuts!!! Soooo good!!!

Only went there because of the sign in the window. Wished I hadn’t. Not a good pie at all. Almost no filling and the pastry was tough and hard, like it was one left over from yesterday. I paid six bucks for the privilege. In summary I get the strong sense they don’t care about what they do.

Mother’s Day or not, travelling home from up the coast, stopped and got a mushroom pie and some fresh bread. Pie was delicious, just the right temperature too. Very busy shop today, line right out the door, just prior to midday. Hubby grabbed some cinnamon donuts to share with Mum’s cuppa later in the afternoon, spot on!
