We had the lobster roll. The meat was fresh but there wasn’t much of it and a bit dry. The chips were great. Service was prompt and super friendly. Great waterfront location. We really enjoyed sitting upstairs.

When you see the locals are visiting this place, that means you are at the right place. The food is priced at a high side, but we enjoyed our lobster roll a lot. Don’t be surprised if it doesn’t look like your normal roll. We thought it makes more sense to have it in the burger format. The lobster meat taste fresh, and has real muscle mass. It doesn’t have too much sauce — we like it really light and fresh. We didn’t try other dishes on the menu but other patrons ordered fish and chips – they looked really good too!

This place can get quite busy at peak times but very lucky to have lunch on one of the quieter days. The half lobster mornay was excellent, tender with a good sweetness from the lobster. The flake is also great with crunchy light batter and a home made tartare sauce. Well worth the diversion on the east coast of Tassie.

We had the $50 Hot Pack, it was delicious! Possibly a bit overpriced, but it’s a touristy place so it’s expected. The fish, prawns & scallops were beautiful, the calamari were a bit average.

Omg, awesome food! All the seafood was so fresh and with generous portions too! We ordered the seafood chowder, lobster roll, their daily special spaghetti marinara & an oyster Kilpatrick (which was a little on the salty side but still good)
