Welcome to Little Jean. A restaurant located in the heart of Double Bay’s buzzing dining precinct Kiaora Lane, our aim is to bring a fresh, modern and seasonal take on food to the area. Little Jean’s menu focuses on seasonal fare driven by local markets with an emphasis on using sustainable produce wherever possible. Here, our diners can chose from standard menu items or decide to create their own meal with a wide selection of sides and dish additions. We are open for breakfast and lunch seven days a week, and evening dinner services from Tuesdays till Saturdays (5PM – 9PM). Whatever the time, Little Jean is a relaxed and casual dining experience – bright, warm and welcoming. Do pop by.

Terrible experience this morning. Fritters served uncooked on the inside. We had a table of 12 and no one enjoyed their food. Coffee was not nice, milk was burnt. When I gave feedback the response was ‘we are understaffed’. Perhaps do not take a table of 12 if you cannot cater for them.

This little restaurant is in double bay, I was quiet surprised it wasn’t so busy, the steak was amazing cooked to perfection it had caramelised onion and like a Mayo with a risotto that had been seared on the out side to make it crunchy , and the salad was well dressed it had like a Japanese sesame dressing on it. Highly recommend it

I will start of by saying this is one of my favourite cafes and one of the few cafes i go to every week without fail (travel from north of the bridge to go here). The food here is amazing they have never once let us down. The breakfast steak is amazing, i highly recommend it! i order it almost on a weekly basis, yes it’s that good. I used to love their ricotta hot cakes, they changed the menu recently to pancakes with passion fruit and lemon curd which are also incredible!

A hidden gem in Double Bay! The dishes we had were all delicious but my favourite was the perfectly cooked steak and the broccolini! I never had such a tasty dish of vegetable before! The menu has something for everyone and definitely recommended to check this place out 😉

To be totally honest, the food is great and the staff is super lovely. I didn’t want to leave only 3 starts because it still deserves a good rating. It just wasn’t my vibe. We went for dinner so maybe breakfast is better? I honestly don’t think there was anything bad with the place, just thought I would enjoy it more when I didn’t.

Fantastic gastronomy experience. Fresh ingredients and delicious flavours. Eye fillet steak was the highlight, although the lamb shoulder was a close second. Salads are well put together, and even the kids meals were generous portions with healthy options. Kid friendly, good for groups but booking is absolutely required. Will definitely come back.

What a lovely place, good staff and service, love the food and very generous portions. Had the salmon cauliflower, husband enjoyed the chicken salad. Definitely the halloumi plate. Loved the staff they were very caring and looked after us very well. A friendly and fun place and we’ll be back for sure.
