A delightful find with great friendly service and wonderful coffee. We really enjoyed the eggs Benny and Avo smash. Cooked perfectly with eggs firm but runny and a great extra serve of bacon to compliment. I like efficient service which doesn’t intrude and these people were experts. Yes it is a little cramped but we were there midweek so we were not too close to our neighbors. Excellent parking. It looked pleasant at tables outside too. Pastries we got to go were delicious.

The place is pretty cramped so you can almost hear what the side table customers are chatting about. It was a busy Sunday arvo and can’t blame the staff for forgetting little things like serviette and drinking water. They also came back to us serving other food that we didn’t order. At the end, when we had to pay, we would have been charged of stuff we didn’t order. Our to share breakfast was about to be charged twice. The menu choice is limited and compared to other cafes, the price and serving for their food are not competitive. I was only able to take a photo of my drink a hot chocolate which iwas great.

Tried this place as the reviews sound promising, however was quite disappointed in the results.

Went looking for a nice coffee in Ballarat found this little gem. Warm welcome, great coffee, including decafe. Attentive staff and tasty sourdough toast cooked to perfection. Thanks

A Ballarat institution. Amazing coffee, pretty good breakfast, the Bloody Mary was also spot on. Everything is made in house so super fresh. Don’t go past the donuts with the vanilla bean icing… best donut ever!!

Great ‘library groovy 60’s beatnik NYC vibe’ for food and beverages. Prawn linguine was large and lovely and the rhubarb cake was also… Very good service. Not the most comfortable sets in the world but after 2 wines they seemed okay 🙂

Food coffee and service is amazing. Only 1 small issue is it’s a little dark. It does add to the atmosphere though. Will definitely be back. I had the smashed avo and it’s was delicious.

Delicious smashed avo and perfect coffee from a barista that knows what they’re doing. Cute little jazz- atmosphered coffee shop. We always stop here when we visit Ballarat.
