They food was absolutely amazing and the staff were lovely! We showed up without a booking and they still found a nice table for us inside. We ordered the spiced sausage entree and the mixed platter to share between two. Not a single complaint about the food, we left stuffed (especially as they kept topping up the bread basket for us free of charge!). Would recommend coming here to anyone.

On a cold winter’s night in Bowral, I cannot imagine a warmer or more convivial place to be. At 7pm on a Friday night the restaurant is already full to the brim, and no wonder. As a chill, lazy wind blows outside, stepping into pretty Leila’s is like joining one big family party. Happy groups and couples make merry as steamy platters of hearty food are carried from the kitchen. Delicious, fresh, made-with-love dishes just like grandma used to make – if you happen to have been blessed with a Lebanese grandma like Leila. Everything is generous, from the alcohol in the cocktails, to the wines by the glass, to the piled high plates of authentic Lebanese favourites. The service hits a perfect note, attentive and congenial, with Raye’s deft touch ensuring every single person in the room feels like a welcome and nurtured guest. Restaurant experiences like this are all too rare, when food and service and atmosphere all sing the perfect notes together. Lucky Bowral! Thanks Leila’s team, can’t wait to return.
