Food was actually pleasantly surprising, and very typical pub grub. Plenty of beers, and lots of pokies options if that’s your thing. Dogs are allowed outside in the seating area which is good, and the staff were all very friendly.

What a gem! This authentic old style pub has a unique charm and an incredible menu, with everything from calamari, to roasts and pizzas, to hot pots and daily specials. We had the pork knuckle with sauerkraut and apple and it was one of the best German meals we’ve ever had outside of Germany. The calamari was also incredibly tasty and full of flavour. Plus, the deck is absolutely gorgeous to sit outside on and enjoy the sunny weather!

Don’t bother wasting your time. Staff will stare at you dead in the eye and ignore you. Stood around 5 minutes and had 3 staff doing sweet fa just look at me when I was waited to be seated. They don’t want your money

Possibly a bit overpriced and some would say average. I would say good, old fashioned. The cheese and bacon bread was one of the best I’ve had, the steak was cooked perfectly and the steak sandwich, melt in your mouth. The last time I had one this good was at Hogs Breath 20 years ago.

Really impressed with the staff! We had lunch there today and I have anaphylaxis allergy that I enquired about the eating there. The front staff took me back to meet the chef to discuss. He was incredibly knowledgeable and caring about being able to cater for me, the young lady when I came back to place the order was diligent as was the kitchen staff who delivered the meal. Every staff member was clearly trained and considerate of the seriousness of anaphylaxis which made me feel very safe and comfortable with eating there. Excellent service!

I can highly recommend the steak salad and chips. The kitchen staff had been busy and we were there a bit later but they did not seemed at all concerned by that but very friendly. The steak was delicious., as was the salad and chips. This pub was a great find on a weekend drive.

Went with the Tues rump special & it was a beautiful cut of meat & cooked to perfection – the chef knows how to cook a proper med-rare steak. Staff really friendly. We will be back real soon.
