The best vegetarian laksa soup in Adelaide, hands down. Portion size is very generous, fresh ingredients, lots of tofu, and the flavour packs a punch. Absolutely delicious.

Love Laksa House. My go to dish is the dumpling laksa – deep flavoured laksa broth with juicy dumplings. Yum. If you’re avoiding splashes the dry hor fun is also delicious. This place is small so it is not a place to linger – order, eat and leave. Service is quick and friendly so it is a good lunch option.

Although the staff appear to be shy and non-talkative, the food they produce is somewhat decent. My friend had the Dumpling Laksa and enjoyed it fully. It was “flavoursome and well balanced.” He was slightly disappointed when he saw pieces of onion shell but it didn’t bother him. He also mentioned the “bean curd” tasted like nothing. As for myself, I tried the curry chicken rice and enjoyed it very much. The rice was steamed to my liking and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The only downfalls were the ratio of chicken to rice where rice was 3:1 and the big mistake of forgetting the pickled salad. Otherwise it’s a cozy, quick, and cash-only place on Flinders St with a fair range of fair prices. It’s also not a good place to have a chat since there’s limited seating.
