I ordered a pizza with the lot. It was delicious and a good size. I shouldn’t have had garlic bread for starters. It even had anchovies on it (which I’m not a big fan of, but still ate it; I’m used to not getting anchovies so if you don’t like them, be sure to ask for it without).

Although the staff were pleasant and friendly I was a little disappointed with my meal, which was the Beef with mushrooms. The sauce was a little thin and runny and my eye fillet, although cooked how I like it, was a little chewy. My husbands pizza went to the wrong table so we had to wait for another one.

Literally waited over an hour for our food for them to come out and say ” sorry were making it now” around 1.5hour wait once paid i said i wasn’t happy with the wait time and a server said ” sorry we where busy” when there was only around 2 other people. Would have preferred if they said sorry we forgot.

Super impressed ! Beautifully cooked, rich home made meals. The closest to our mums cooking we have ever come across. Good sized portions too !! Staff were also very friendly!

We did a BYO wine and had garlic bread, veal scallopini and I had an affogato. Everything was so nice. Even hubby said how much he enjoyed the veal. Staff were lovely and friendly. Would definitely come back here when we revisit Port again.

A wonderfully traditional Italian restaurant1 The steak was tender; the sauce had no flour (I am coeliac! and the chef came out to assure me no flour) and the wait staff was welcoming and speedy. great for a single diner. Taking my elderly uncle there again next week when i am back in Port.

I too believe that the staff, 1 in particular needs training on how to speak to customers. Went there recently as I do every year up at Port, to have a new girl speak rude to me. When I asked for more then 4 pieces of ice in my wine bucket was told there is a water shortage so she wont give me anymore and said it wasn’t her problem and that its the owners problem. Not good service. Apart from the young girl the food was lovely.
