Was surprised to find such a beautiful authentic Italian restaurant in a quiet town like Maryborough, but what a delightful addition this is to the dining scene. Booking are recommended, it’s only a small dining space, but provides an intimate, warming and welcoming space. Food was outstanding though, we shared the red pesto pizza for an entree and I had the Pappardelle Bolognese. Servings were very generous and they more than happy to give me a takeaway container for what I couldn’t finish. Food was fresh and delicious, 9/10! Prices were very reasonable too.

What a gem of a place! Excellent staff, extremely welcoming and attentive. Tried the pistachio and blood orange tortellini…filling was gorgeous. Fresh pizza flavours and they were the size of tractor tyres! BYO if you’d like a cheeky bevvie with dinner! Rang the ‘kitchen appreciation’ bell on the way out with loud cheers to follow! A fabulous fun night!

Myself and my daughter and her family had a delicious dinner here. We had also ordered a pizza to takeaway but forgot to collect it when we left. They called not long after to say that if we popped in at lunchtime the next day they would have a freshly cooked one ready for us. What great service!

We passed through Maryborough and were drawn in by the amazing smell wafting from the restaurant. As we had already had dinner we purchased a garlic pizza and it was seriously the best garlic pizza I’ve ever had. As we were passing back through we decided to grab another but the kitchen had closed for the evening (all places close by 8pm) but Fly, the gorguz owner, had a freshly made vegetarian pizza left and gave it to us because it had been sitting a while and it was so good. They often leave excess fresh fruit from their farm on the table for people to take, we had the freshest mandarines last time we were here. Such a wonderful community spirit. Not only that, the place has a 1920’s vibe and the staff dress this way. The fine details are fantastic, the pizza’s amazing and the staff and decor really make this place somewhere you have to stop and try when you are in Maryborough.
