Pizza doughs were so light! Definitely order one pizza per person. Our favourite was Tramonto: the sharpness of provolone picante complemented the slivers of porchetta perfectly, with the juicy San Marzano tomatoes shinning through from below. Crumbled mussels were a lovely executed special menu. Delicious Italian wine list (Chianti red a star). The only downside was that due to the size of the store, it’s outdoor seating only if you’re not a group. However they do have heaters so it doesn’t get too cold in winter.

Traditional Italian pizza around the Redfern area. The staff is friendly, especially the owner with the cool mustache. Very busy during peak hours, so you should avoid this period if possible. Always come here fortnightly.

Friendly and attentive customer service. The quaint restaurant within the heart of Redfern has a lovely Italian vibe that you’ll definitely want to visit for some delicious and authentic wood-fired pizza. Both pizzas which I ordered were on point (the burrata was amazing).

Extremely friendly family owned restaurant with amazing pizza. Our group ordered the moferrato, ciccio with mild salami, Quattro format, scopello and everything was absolutley delicious. We were celebrating a friends birthday and the owner came out with an accordion to help us with the instrumentals. Highly recommend anyone around to check this place out.

Excellent pizza! Loved the dough and the fennel. Ordered the Lilla which was fantastic, but wished there were more sausages though. Everything else was perfect and will definitely be back.

Fantastic little pizzeria! Welcoming and friendly service and atmosphere. We had four different pizzas, all vegetarian apart from the anchovies on the Marinara pizza. They were perfectly cooked, thin, chewy crust, generous but not over the top with great quality ingredients. My favourite was the Ciccio with fried zucchini, fior di latte, on a white base. Kids loved the Margherita but happily tried and enjoyed all the pizzas. Definitely will visit again and will be recommending it to family and friends.

I’ve had nothing but the absolute best experience at La Coppola last night. It was a Friday night and although the seating was limited, our group of four were seated quickly.

The pizzas were good but we were ignored by a staff member for a very long time (15+ minutes) while he was chatting with a table next to us. We were then brought the wrong wines and had to wait an extended period for that to be fixed while they were again chatting to the table next to us. Good food, poor service
