Came here with my family to celebrate my dad’s 70th and had a great time – the food was absolutely delicious and the tacos authentic. Loved the micheladas too. It has a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. The service was impeccable. We had the banquet and the food was plentiful and very reasonably priced, especially considering the authentic ingredients. I’ll definitely be back.

I’m so envious of the locals who have easy access to this gem! Everything was standout excellent and the staff are all lovely. The stuffed fresh jalapenos were delicious, as was the char-grilled corn, and I’m so glad the waitress suggested the char-grilled lamb tacos when I couldn’t decide between them or the Pork Carnitas! The margaritas were excellent, too.

Man this place is good. I’ve made two special trips here since it opened (and I live all the way down in Sydney). Let’s start with the decor… like maybe the cutest place ever. Everything down to the finest detail has been carefully thought out. The staff are incredibly genuine and friendly. The food is beautiful. Tacos are generously and deliciously stuffed. The lamb Barbacoa, oh man , the guacamole, the shared mains like the king prawn rice is delish. Would not hesitate to come here most weekends if I were a local.

Seriously outstanding Mexican. So so so yum with cocktails to die for. A must to visit for anyone in the Byron area. You need to book as this place is deservedly constantly packed. We had the fish tacos… stunning, the cauliflower tacos… unbelievable, the pork tacos… seriously amazing. The guacamole and the jalapeño poppers are super yum too. Drinks wise the watermelon cocktail was my favourite but others were a close second so you can’t go wrong. Best Mexican I have had in Australia. Will be back for sure

I don’t even know where to begin with La Casita. The whole time l was soo happy and impressed with how they just got everything perfect and spot on. From the very beginnjng Astrid greeted us so warmly and it honestly felt like we walked into her home. The food and drinks here is just on another level and you soon realise what all the fuss is about. Every single element served to us was perfect either in a glass or plate. We tried the Jalapeno Rellenos and Guacamole Con Totopos as starters. Hands down the best stuffed Jalapenos l’ve ever had. Definite must try and the corn chips and Guacamole was so fresh and yummy. Another bust try. Tried 3 of their taco range (Pescado, Al Pastor and Barbacoa De Cordero) and all 3 were of the highest quality tacos l’ve ever had. So much flavour. Next we tried the Arroz Con Camarones A La Mexican which was the king prawns and chilli rice. Another amazing dish. Perfect and wish we had more of it. Finally we got the Pescado Asado which was the whole fish. Beautiful and the fish was treated with so much respect and it tasted great. I seriously can not fault any element served to us and can not wait to go back.
