I don’t understand how the chef’s cook the foods. Kubo is always a hit and miss. One day, the food is good next time it isn’t. I always give them a chance because I’m craving for some Filo food that is served beautifully as some just serve in take away containers.

The food was delicious, with a great environment and service to accompany. Filipino foods often comes in share plates, which is perfect for having a wide range of foods, making for a delicious ensemble, and if there are left overs (which there often will be), the friendly staff are happy to give you take away containers. The atmosphere is nicely themed, making you feel as though you’re in an asian forest. Overall, a great restaurant with delicious food, nice service, and a good atmosphere, will be coming again

Not the first time we have been disappointed with kubo’s recently… Tonight, we had the meat platter and it was missing the milk fish and the chicken was very dry. The Beef caldereta has only 4 pieces of small meat. So overall the meals were very overpriced for what we got and the quality wasn’t very nice. Don’t think we will bother anymore

Service was great. Can’t complain. Chicken skin was the best. Unfortunately, the rest of the food wasn’t great. we ordered sinugba platter but it was not fresh, so dry and cold. It tasted like it was reheated. The sinigang meat was like a dog food, it tasted like one kg of powder was poured into it. It was more bones than meat. It was not fresh at all. We ordered heaps of desserts thinking it would taste good and fresh but sad to say it was rock hard. Maybe display desserts that are maybe a day older? ‍ ‍ ‍ Good thing we did not end up with food poisoning. Suggestions? Would be nice if you could make food taste warmer. Desserts rotated and prepped better. People talked big about this restaurant so we checked it out but sadly we were not that busog LOL

Pretty good food. The atmosphere was nice and the waitress had a big smile. We had the meal for 2 and it was easily enough food.
