Food was great, we enjoyed it. But service wasn’t so nice. The interior lights wasn’t on rainy/overcast day so some tables were dark. Tried to seat inside first but too dark, so moved to outside but table was wet so went inside again. And I bought 2 Groupon vouchers but the staff said 1 voucher per table not kindly at all and actually there was no explanation about 1 per table on the description and no apologies to make this confusion. Zero my fault there because I read all the description before purchasing it and booking has done way before but I haven’t got any warning email or text. Anyway, I didn’t mind at all to use 1 and cancel the other one so asked to refund it and she talked nicely, said she would do it but it wasn’t smooth. I should go and ask it again after we finished food because I didn’t get a simple cancellation email yet. She said she would do it asap so I just went out the cafe but over 3 hours still no email so I should send a message and finally I got an email but she sent the email without their logo or anything, before I went out the shop, she told me she would send the email with their logo but obviously she didn’t. So I should explain and screenshot the email etc, some extra job to get the refund. Hope they mentioned 1 voucher per table first place. Still nothing mentioned on their Groupon description.

What a fantastic resturant deserving of praise. On our first visit we received OUTSTANDING service, food, and drinks. Kudos to Tom and Bridgette who took great care of us, chef Jojo who created amazing food…(in fact the best Pork Katsu sandwich we’ve had outside of Japan), and lastly the owner, Monique, who spent time with us chatting, even welcoming our suggestions – a memorable, 5+ star visit. Can’t wait to go back. Pics of pork katsu sando, Crab sando, a fantastic cocktail, and the best lotus chips we’ve ever had, served with tuna dip. Highly recommend and we will be returning over and over again added pic of okonomiyaki from next visit. As good as in Japan! Thanks again Tom and crew 🙂 loved the shochu and the shochu cocktail with yuzu and lemon

Absolutely amazing this place. Enjoyed a very happy and satisfying meal with my family. The decorations are modern and stylish, and the food is top notch. If you had Goya’s sando and love it, then, you CANNOT miss this place. Easily one of the best Sando place in the whole GC and Brisbane area if not the best. Paid $130 for three. While this is not exactly cheap, considering the food(quality&portion), the service and the environment, this place is definitely offering you some real deals. Two items you have two get are the Don’t be a Crab and the pork/beef Sando.

The vibe is top notch. Very underrated and one of the best cafes as far as atmosphere goes on the Gold Coast. Great music and interior design. The flat white I had was delicious and the crab sandwich was amazing. One of the few places that does an authentic Japanese fusion instead of just chicken avocado and rice. Highly recommend

“Sit down be humble” very much so… Exquisite presentation of food, great eye for detail. delicious cocktails, unique craft beers, top shelf Japanese spirits, great venue an decor. services second-to-none staff are pleasant and extremely friendly and go out of their way to make your dining experience one-of-a-kind. great for private functions or a Sundowner on your way home from work. funky atmosphere loved it, I will be back.

Perfection. There was no a single thing not right on our SANDOS, so good that I was sad seen my crunchy pork dripping the good juices onto (a very stylish) plate. And who knew that seaweed confetti can work so amazingly well on hot chips!!!. Decoration at the same level as food, it just works perfectly. All with weight, all clean and fun. Coming back soon

A gem in Southport. Koko is my most fav cafe in SouthPort. The foods and coffee are absolutely amazing . Great service and staffs are always friendly! I highly recommend to try katsu chicken its really juicy and crunch. Meals are huge makes me so full always
