Food can be hit and miss. Most visits the food is fresh and delicious but a few times recently has been missing the mark (small portions, no flavour)

Good standard Kintaro, decent choice and good made fairly regularly.

I have been there 3 times and every time I have had a bad experience. The food on the train was stone cold. Every visit!. I picked up 3 different plates. They were cold… the latest visit today. I ordered fresh karrage, and it never came. I asked about it, and the lady said Oh ill ask the chef and then said it’s going to be another 10 minutes even though I already waited 20 mins. I left feeling very disappointed/sad because the food is good, but my experiences have been consistently bad.

Today I took my son and daughter in law there for lunch. The food was so cold and tasted like it had been there for hours. When we asked a lady waiter if the cheese could be a little bit more melted she pretty much snubbed me off and told me flat out NO it’s supposed to be cold. She then was so so rude when she was counting out plates and didn’t even acknowledge the fact that I had spoke to her about the 3 plates we couldn’t even eat. I’ve been going here for years and told was the last straw it was a horrible feeling being spoken down to

Go to this sushi train, even if it is close to where I live! Eat here regularly with friends- Train is always plentiful, nice and clean environment. Staff are efficient and friendly. Never a long wait if you need to que for a table.

I come here very often with all of my friends, family, boyfriend, everyone. Out of the likely 100 times I’ve been here, I have only been let down twice because food was the incorrect temperature. Those are pretty good odds. I love Kintaro Sushi very much.

Food Is absolutely amazing, my partner and i have been going for here for a few years now, but the service from staff members on the other hand are very terrible and very poor. We are usually always waiting 10-15 minutes waiting for someone to come up to us after we have finished our food. We then have to stand up and still takes them around 10-15 to come. And half the time we go they hardly have any food on the train.

The variety was horrible. It was Friday night there should be tons of choices available. Most of the plates on the belt were old and the warm dishes were all cold. No one working there talked very cold environment. No one asked if we wanted water or anything. It was pretty busy, and they were making tons of new plates but everything sat behind the belt. We were left and felt very unsatisfied.

This used to be a great place to visit, the food was always fresh and it was always busy with a line out the door. The last three times the food has been beyond average with food that is meant to be hot, ice cold. The problem being they are preparing way to much of an item that is meant to be hot and it is just sitting going around on the train. Last night fresh sushi came out, so we grabbed the teriyaki chicken and avocado off, the rice was hard, chewy and just not enjoyable, the rolls barely rolled. The Gyozas were ice cold and beyond chewy it was like chewing gum. When we asked to do a special order, it was like we had asked the impossible, the front of house staff were nearly invisible, so we asked one of the ladies in where the food was being prepped and she told us she was too busy. We were one of five people in there. We will not go back unfortunately as we used to really enjoy it here for a quick meal.
