Tried this place out after seeing it randomly as we went past. The Egyptian burger was very nice, the minced meat in it was flavoursome. The liver sandwich was nice, the bread was very soft. The pickled vegetable side on the Egyptian burger had an interesting flavour I’ve never had before, it was nice. Hummus sides were tasty. The portion size to price ratio was pretty good. Overall it was a good taste experience, will come past and try it again! Thanks!

I came here with basic expectations to have a quick Egyptian meal with Aussie touch, yet I was impressed when I ordered the hawawshi to start with, it was just delicious. Hazim told me they had falafel which wasn’t yet added to the menu, I held myself back cause I’m not really a big fan of falafel made with chickpeas, although I was assured it’s Egyptian style, I didn’t want to risk it at first. Beans, taamia, etc This kinda business was a big part of my upbringing as we had a small family restaurant back in Egypt. So I’m quite fussy when it comes to these dishes. When I tried the hawashi, I just decided I’d take my chances and order the falafel. It was just as yummy. Didn’t get a chance to take a pic.

I didn’t expect to get authentic quality Egyptian food outside Egypt but King Tut proved me wrong. Their Koshary, liver sandwich, Hawowshi, and basbousa cupcakes all are super delicious, affordable and generous in portions. I wish I live nearby to be able to visit them regularly. Totally recommended to anyone wants to try a real Egyptian street food . Finally a super friendly staff.

Authentic Egyptian experience, having left Egypt almost 5 years ago now, I haven’t tasted anything that felt this “Egyptian” in years, hawawshi is my favourite to be honest, koushary was absolutely great as well as the liver but hawawshi for me is King!
