Our popular on-site restaurant at the Kununurra Country Club Resort serves breakfast lunch and dinner, 7 days a week. Breakfast and lunch are served from Kelly’s Pool View Bar & Deck, while dinner can be enjoyed in either our main dining room overlooking our ‘jungle’ garden or overlooking the pool. Kelly’s offers modern Australian cuisine with influences from the varied experiences of our chefs. We love to showcase local ingredients whether it be fabulous local fruit, crisp, tasty local salad greens, chia, chick peas borlotti beans or the award-winning range of Hoochery Distillery products. Kelly’s also offers tailored options for private dining, functions and conferences.

I ordered the scotch fillet with greens and mashed potatoes. The flame searing on the meat gave it a very burnt taste that overpowered the otherwise tasteless meat. I generally like crispy meat but the grill was obviously too hot with flames burning the surface. I ate no more than two pieces of the meat, leaving the steak. When the waiter collected the plate I told him why I had left the meat, he had no reply. I told the manager on the way out and was offered an alternative but too little too late. The veggies were good, but don’t order the scotch fillet.

The food was amazing. The floor staff were great however the Manager was extremely rude and unhelpful. For the price of the meal there is no reason you couldn’t leave your credit card with the staff instead of going up every time you wanted a beer or order a course. It was as if he didn’t trust the staff to do their job.

Big fuss on their website about making a reservation, did that and our name wasn’t even on the list! No table service at all! Place was empty but they can’t bring your drinks to the table. Overpriced and no service veges not cooked and no option of a salad. Menu was boring
