The name KatsuCo comes from Katsu Company meaning that we aim to build up this restaurant to be the best Japanese Katsu restaurant in Brisbane. So glad this little gem as come to the Gold Coast. The Tomahawk Katsu was delicious and tender. The Cheese Katsu was so gooey cheesy. The staff were friendly, expected a wait time of 25 min as the restaurant was pumping but 5 minutes later we were sitting down and ordering. Highly recommended and didn’t disappoint.

Aburi Salmon Don was absolutely delicious. Cheesy Katsu was okay, a bit too cheesy for us. Next time we want to try the tomahawk Katsu set.

Wanted to say thank you to the manager on duty at lunchtime 24/05. The food is one of the best we tried on the Gold Coast. We ordered Tomhawk Katsu and Takoyaki, the katsu was tender, fried to perfection, best with the katsu sauce and grind sesame.

This kind of deep fired food is my favourite, so happy KatsuCo opened at Southport recently. I ordered the $33 pork chop set and my friends ordered curry with chicken set, it’s surprisingly tasty, pork are juicy and not chewy, curry is Japanese style, sweet and not spicy, so far we enjoyed our lunch here today, can come back again

Highly recommended and beautiful food in this joint. Big set of meals and freshly cooked katsu. They also have salads that are really nice. My partner loves the the cheesy katsu, need to be eaten straightaway or else the cheese will be a bit stringy lol. I will definitely come back and try the other katsu and noodle menu.
