Wow !! My gosh we were pleasantly surprised by the 4 course menu !! Each plate was just as delicious as the one before. Presentation beautiful! The service professional and friendly. We left thinking how lucky we were to have a top notch restaurant like Karrikin in Yamba. 5 stars !! I recommend the 4 course menu. Such a delight!

Only got one photo and it doesn’t do the 4 courses justice. Came for our anniversary and got a vegan set and it was AMAZING, out of this world. Definitely get the bread. Honestly couldn’t pick one thing that was our favourite, it was pleasure to the senses. Can’t wait to come back. The staff were lovely and super friendly.

Set menu of Modern Australian cuisine. Really enjoyed our visit here. The staff were knowledgable on both the food and wine. Excellent food with lovely flavours and delivery was well paced. Thoroughly recommend and compliments to the chef.

Our family has been long time Karrikin subscribers and supporters. On our fourth visit we again thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant. We’ve loved to see over the years how it has grown and changed. We love the food and drinks and wish them every success for the coming year!

Not sure where to start. We booked a table for 2 knowing it was going to be set menu. Nowhere did it say it was going to be a fixed set menu! Once we sat down no menu was given we thought thats odd. When we asked we were told they didn’t have one! Now we were very confused and uncomfortable as we had dietary preferences.. yes we could have added that to the booking, had we known theres no options to choose from we would have! What restaurant doesn’t give you options? In the end the manager (or a senior staff member) came to see us as we weren’t happy. And pretty much yelled at us for 5 minutes telling us off that we should have known better! lol. Almost shaming us into accepting it was our fault! Have to add in the end, they did swap things for example pork was swapped with prawns.

We definitely had a great Christmas Eve/Pre-birthday dinner at Karrikin. They used beautiful produce to create phenomenal dishes. The staff were friendly and the service was wonderful! We can’t wait to go back.
