It would have to be the best Chinese meal we have ever had, we then decided to share a banana fritter & ice-cream to top our night off they bought out enough for 2 people when we paid for one to share. It is a lovely restaurant. It is fairly expensive, but the quality is up there in its ingredients, service, and venue. The servers handwrite all their orders and are continually trying their best to help you have the best night you can. So please do yourself a favour and go to the bowlo!!

After reading all the reviews I nearly cancelled our dinner reservation tonight but Im so glad I ignored the reviews. The staff are kind and patient, both the young man at the register taking orders (even if their POS system is hectic, he has it down pat) to the young lad that served us, with such an amazing personality and a great sense of humour. And finally the dishes, fabulous duck and fish and combination chow mein. We loved it very much.

Disappointed with the service. Our first time going to Evans Head. Friends who have eaten here before said the food was nice. 4 of the 5 main dishes arrived to our table within 30 mins of ordering. Server said my plum duck would come to the table shortly. The lemon chicken too greasy and made one of our group feel unwell.
