There’s something good happening here, Jones Street Take Away have the secret to crispy chips. The fish batter is pretty good too. The thing that surprises me most is that both chips and fish aren’t oil soaked despite being deep fried. And no old oil taste.

Bought 2 fish and chip packs, 2 potato cakes and gravy. Best I have had in a long time. Ratio of batter to fish is perfect, same on potato cakes. Thin batter, there is more fish than batter and I loved the crunchiness of it. Chips were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Good sized portion so I was happy to pay $15 per meal. My only issue was how long it took to arrive, but that has nothing to do with Jones Street Takeaway. Definitely will go back and try other menu items

Since these new owners have taken over the fish is amazing like it’s fresh fish you get when u visit coastal towns they even have cheap family packs and big potato cakes and the owners are so helpful and happy with awesome customer service I say it’s now the best fish and chip shop in albury wodonga keep up the good work guys
