First of all nice and friendly patrons. Comfortable and relaxed seating with a great bar. I didn’t know how i was possibly going to fit a burger in today untill a was presented with a compact burger with a generous serving of chips. Don’t get me wrong the burger was just the right size, full of great flavours with every bite. Easy to handle in a great fluffy bun. Would love to have spent much more time here and will defenatly return for more.

Unfortunately it was disappointing tonight. After a second disappointing experience I’m afraid I won’t be going back and felt I had to share… I ordered the JD rib filet burger and instead the cut was a small, skinny and overcooked minute steak which was fill of gristle. If I see rib filet that’s what I expect and in spite of the other ingredients seeking ok, the poor steak ruined the while experience for me. Please see the image. Due to lack of flavour I added the onion rings on, it didn’t come with that. There wasn’t enough sauce on the burger and the bacon was taken too far, so it was chewy. Some people may like that but it’s not to my liking. Hopefully the feedback will help as I’m sure getting the steak right will no doubt improve future reviews.

The best place to eat at Gympie!! Good food and good price. I got 6pcs chicken wings for $9 with Mango Habanero flavor that is not too spicy for me (I am Balinese) but my Swedish boyfriend said it was super spicy!

Stopped in by on the way to Hervey bay, glad we did, superb burgers at very reasonable price. Nice place inside and friendly service, one of the best burgers we’ve had.

Came here because mostly had good reviews a couple of negative ones. So we decided to give it ago. Unfortunately it was not good chips were too oily and both burgers were not good. Then i spent the night vomiting and feeling really sick, not good when your only away for a couple of nights. The staff were nice however.

On a semi busy night waited 45 minutes for a takeaway burger ( apparently if you are a take away customer your treated as a second rate customer) then asked for my money back at which time I was berated by the manager because I’ve cost them money. There was another customer there that was waiting for almost 2 hours.
