Horrible, waited over 25 mins for a mediocre at best “big breakfast”, that doesn’t even have bacon as standard included so add another $5.50, service was poor as they forgot an item, pricing is absolutely ridiculous and the pancakes are no better than the diy $4 packets you can buy from coles. 1/10 experience

I used to be a regular customer with Jamaica blue at Lake haven. Unfortunately, ever since the old owners have left, this business has not been that great. Firstly, I have ordered food here and many times I have had to send it back because there’s HAIR IN THE FOOD. And bits of sharp glass/plastic in the cakes or sweets section. Secondly, the service is remarkably slower, I assume because there is less staff on and seem abit uptight or stressed. Thirdly, I have seen the new owner yell and intimidate the workers INFRONT OF THE CUSTOMERS. Not a professional look and definatly doesn’t create a good vibe or environment to be in. To create a successful business; you need to have a GOOD concept of customer service – the staff is fine, however I have been served from the owner and he seems very impersonal, reserved and does not want to be there. Better off going to Jamaica blue at Tuggerah, the staff are happy and seems to be more organised than Lake haven. This change of management ought to be changed again to regain the success it once had.
