Absolutely fabulous food. Hubby had the BEST chicken green curry and I had chicken and cashew nut. We love our Thai food and this definitely rates up there in the top three Thai restaurants for us. We are from Brisbane and we will be recommending Jackey Jackey to any friends that come up this way.

Lovely meal and excellent service. Located right on the waterfront near the Captain Cook statue. The menu selection is great and if you like Thai food this is the place to eat or buy takeaway. This is a byo restaurant and has a $5.00 corkage fee for wine and a $1.00 fee for stubbies.

Best Thai food we’ve had! Very nice staff; they’re extremely busy yet still manage to give you good service. Cute restaurant with intriguing interior decorations. The food was just perfect. Fresh, yummy, aromatic and beautifully presented. Good prizes especially when you take the quality into account.

Whilst at Weipa a recommendation was provided to eat at Jackey Jackey Thai in Cooktown and try the duck curry. We were not disappointed. Ate on a Tuesday night – very busy so I would recommend to book in advance if you can. The wait person (only one) was the hardest working I have seen – answering calls for take away, taking care of tables and delivering meals – unbelievable and at all times had a smile. Overall, one of the best Thai meals I have had.
