Wow spare yourself the waste of money for bottom of the barrel poorly made, unfresh discusting sushi type food stuff. My daughter and I got chicken and avo, as soon as we opened it we knew it was unfresh and and old, possibly “rolled” days prior. We got tummy cramps and my daughter got diarrhoea from it.

Where do we start. 3 staff standing around on their phones and chit chatting. I was not acknowledged while I smiled, stared and waved at them from the sushi cabinet. I went to the counter in my second attempt to get their attention, nothing. The other customers waiting patiently left. Another woman turns up, she says excuse me to them. I’m about 4 metres away and heard her clearly but they ignored her. 3 more customers turn up. Now the ‘J1 sushi social media squad’ are surrounded by customers staring at them wanting service. We all start giggling about how they don’t need the money here and it must be one of those businesses used for money laundering, this did not get their attention either. More customers turn up and join the banter. Eventually I yelled at the top of my lungs “HELLO, YOU HAVE 8 CUSTOMERS WAITING”. 2 staff remain on their phones while one furiously waddles over. 3 customers walk away. She takes my order and slides little plastic containers full off oily bio waste at me and snarks as she walks off to the sushi cabinet to serve the remaining scum bags who interrupt phone time. I realize this lazy rude staff member has forgotten the third part of my order that I had paid for. I call out to her, she ignores me, I wait till she has finished serving the next customer and call out to her again “excuse me”, she ignores me again. I figured it was probably not worth my time waiting to get the food I had paid for and left. My meal was dull and expensive considering the portion. Probably do not come here.

Thanks for the hair in my sushi roll. And wow – talk about Sydney Rocks prices. $4.80 for literally one sushi roll? Definitely don’t feed a family of 4 here, it will cost you $100! The staff are rude and dismissive too. I don’t know how one of my hairs could get tangled up inside a sushi roll…

I come here aost every day at lunch. Their avocado is always so creamy and delicious! best avo roll in the plaza . Their tempura veg and spring rolls are vegan too which is awesome. And they make fresh sushi if you get there early enough – so good!
