Mixed feeling about this place. I have eaten here 3 evenings in a row and every day something has happened: issues in the kitchen, long service, etc.

I hate giving poor reviews but… We dined last night, booking at 4.30 but waited till 5pm to order from the dinner menu. I ordered the ragu which was definitely not a ragu, but was a bolognese (yes mince meat was the only ‘beef’ in the dish) and pasta that had been reheated. How do I know it was reheated? None of the pasta had a round shape, it was all squashed flat. Also, once the top layer was pushed aside you could see the shape of the rectangular container. I would have said something to the waitress but she was rude and too busy “finding the dinner menus”. Extremely disappointed. I understand the care factor will be limited but I felt it necessary to pass on this feedback. Hopefully the menu can actually start reflecting what is served. One upside, the seasoning on the chips was tasty.

Super expensive….. have never been shocked at a food portion in my life. 18 for just eggs and bread, 17 for baby pancakes? I’m sorry, what?

Overall great experience. Notably, an Asian staff member has been extremely generous with the tomato sauce.

Food took half an hour to come out despite being empty, when it did come out there was a long hair in my food. I told the waiter and they didn’t apologise or offer me a refund they only asked if I wanted it made again but as I was on my lunch break I couldn’t wait another 30mins for food. After eating the food I got FOOD POISONING and had to leave work earlier and Uber home because I was too sick to drive. I called the restaurant to tell them and they said the manager would call me back within a few days. It’s been almost 6months and still no call back. This place is shocking and disgusting.

Bar & restaurant inside the Holiday Inn. Visited on a Tue for dinner. It would benefit from table service as it has a pub atmosphere where you order at the bar. On arrival there’s a “wait to be seated” sign which is pointless as bar staff say you can sit anywhere. They have a sign outside with a picture of a cocktail advertising happy hour everyday 5pm-6pm but no cocktails were on special on tue. We arrived at 5pm. I asked 3 times for a dinner menu. Finally 3rd waiter said we weren’t allowed to see the menu til 530pm. I had grilled fish which was like rubber, the burger was acceptable if I was in a pub and the dessert looked great but was quite ordinary. By 630pm it was packed with office workers eating & drinking. They seem to have a lot of dining & drink offers. I’d go back if there was a 2 for 1 offer or cheaper cocktails but wouldn’t rush back. If you like pub grub you’ll like this place. The best thing about this place is the booth tables for 2

Lunch is a good deal, had juicy Osso Bucco with generous portion, tender and juicy. Worth the money. Serving was quick, staffs were friendly.

Stayed at Holiday Inn and we found Ivy and Jack very convinient place to dine in with the kids. Restaurant, Bar and Cafe all in one. We had our coffee fix with some yummy sweets for the kids too. I am not sure if it was a busy night but there were few empty tables, we had to wait for sometime before our sweets to be served and our hot drinks have gone cold, hubby had to order another one he finished his before the desserts have been served. I will still give it a good rating because of the friendly ambiance, location and yummy sweets.
