Great value for money, it’s not the best fish and chips you’ve ever had in your entire life but it doesn’t have to be. The potato cakes were great and fish portion was generous for price. Cheap, fast and very fresh. Staff were friendly and gave us really nice service. I’d come back and give the burgers a go

The batter was perfect! Thin but crunchy. Fish was cooked beautifully and the chips were decent, gravy was full of flavour and nice and thick.

Look I have been going here for over 30 years but since the new owners, it has slowly gone down hill. Last nights dinner was the last I think. The fish as always was great but the batter, chips and everything else was cooked in dirty oil. We couldn’t eat any of the chips or potato cakes because the were burnt and dripping in oil.

We will not be going back to Isleys fish chip shop because they have stuffed the order up and don’t know anything about gluten-free we have ask for grilled fish with no flour and pick up the order and your fish has flour on it and now can not eat our dinner grr

Potato cakes were freshly battered and cooked, however oil was too hot so they were a bit too burned. Chips were dry, the flake comes in two sizes medium and large size. To me they were both the same size and a little too thin.
