Nice cafe which I came to with my mum. Unfortunately we were made to feel like second hand citizens. They have 2 areas – a cafe diner area and a nicer carpeted area with more comfortable seating for my mum with lovely art on the walls. We were told the nicer area was closed without an explanation. There were clearly 7-8 people in first class area enjoying themselves and each other’s company and when I enquired if we could sit in there the lady insisted the area was closed. She did offer to bring a cushion for my mum who has a bad back which was lovely so we accepted this. We arrived over an hour before closing time and sat in the diner area looking into the other room where people continued to enjoy themselves at their different tables and ordering more food & coffee. The whole experience was just bizarre. Food was nice & I would have given it over it 4 stars if it weren’t for the second hand treatment. We left before most people sitting in first class had finished ordering. I don’t think I’ll be coming back here on that basis

Absolutely disgusting costumer service. Chef made they order wrong, took it back asked for it to be corrected. they flipped the burger chicken filet over and served us the same incorrect meal. When we told the store owner she knew it had happened and said ” we are trying to not waste food”. Really disappointed as a local. We never be returning and will be sharing this story.

Amazing Cafe! The service is outstanding and the staff make you appreciate the community you live in. Well done for being such a bastion of hospitality in the Highlands. Oh! And their coffee is amazing! Try their coffee!

Came to this cafe this morning with high hopes, but disappointingly got served a very small serving of food when I ordered a main meal for $20, very unsatisfied with the quantity of the serving, WILL NOT RETURN.
