My experience did not match the rest of the reviews and I was disappointed. And expected far better.The food present well and the staff were very nice . However the food took ages to be delivered and they knocked on the door and bolted. They put my cold can of coke in with my hot meal. Which made my coke warm and my food wet. The food looked really good but tastes plain. They messed up the order and it took them 70 minutes to come back.People had to eat there meals in two halves. Maybe it was a one off. I would still buy my food here at this stage. It does seem like a very good shop but they need to make sure they pay attention to detail .

I was very impressed to see that there were vegan options at Hunky Dory and was very happy to have some junk food. However, when I received my food there was a packet of lemon aioli that came with The New School fried pack that states on the package that it contains egg.

Excellent crumbed flake, large portions and plenty of chips in the family size serving. Ordered by phone with the very helpful Emily and it was ready on time. The take-away bag was quite ritzy. Keep up the great work!

Got a pack at closing time last night. The server actually came outside to let us know they were closing soon. Friendly and efficient service. Great battered fish fillets and general great value with lemon and sauce included in the packs. Cute setup inside too. Only neg was the squid rings are a little sad. Wow what a meal, if your expecting a run of the mill fish and chip shop then think again. Meal was outstanding so big I struggled to eat it all. I had a delicious large beautifully cooked stick of giant prawns. Blue grenadine fried and grilled and the tastiest, crispiest huge sweet potato chips. Only criticism is there was no sour cream I could buy.
