Nicely presented restaurant. We experienced a midday service with 4 degrees outside, sleet and hail. Inside was to our observation about 3/4 filled with patrons. It took 25 mins to get back to serving us. The menu offered a good variety of foods, however, the end result was a lukewarm satay, and a not totally defrosted burger. The redeeming part was a great coffee, nice and hot in mugs that seemed to keep the drink hot longer than usual.

Good food and coffee in a upmarket cafe environment. Unfortunately looses stars due to rude/unhelpful staff. We had to ask the waiter to take our order, ask for water and extra glasses, tone and delivery was all unpleasant. Some staff members on previous visits were nice.

Tasty pumpkin soup and chicken burger. Lots of nice sounding options on the breakfast menu for next time. Lovely service from the staff and comfy chairs to enjoy the nice atmosphere. Watery coffee though which was a shame. Glad to know this cafe is here though!

Had a great soy flat white here with some tasty pasta. Smithton is a bigger town in the north west and Hugo’s has a good selection on the menu. Reasonably priced. Get in before 3pm as that’s when they close (they open at 6am).
