The quality of Fish and Chips at Hooks is exceptional. The fish was snow white, thick and very tasty. The batter was light and crunchy without the oil content that i have experienced from other local stores. The chips were cooked to perfection and with my usual light dousing of salt and vinegar the taste was delightful. I must admit they are a little pricey but you get what you pay for and the quality at Hooks Fish and Chips is well worth it.

Haven’t had good old fish n chips for years tonight we tried. Have to say disappointed..fish is not snapper and the chips are stale. It’s hot which was a plus and the service on phone and counter great . But won’t try it again. 🙁

Quite possibly the worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. Ordered five pieces of crumbed snapper (had to pay $1.50 extra for crumbed ) and it was soft and mushy like it’s been frozen three times before it was cooked. Chips were average, the only part they did well was the calamari. Very disappointing for over $100 worth of fish & chips.
