First time dining here, very nice atmosphere and staff were lovely too! Great table service and the food came out so quickly I was shocked. All the food was so delicious and we took the rest home in their provided take away containers. 10/10 will be going back!

An absolutely amazing place to eat! The food was amazing light and flavourful the best Chinese food I have had since moving to the area! The atmosphere was good even with a near on full house it’s wasn’t loud I could still talk to my partner on the other side of the table. It did take awhile for a server to take our food but we were happy with the overall service spent $85 and walked out happy and full! Dine here if your looking for a “succulent chinese meal”

Don’t usually write reviews. But this was worse than average had to write a review. The BBQ meat so tasteless, dry and not fresh what so ever. they had to pour BBQ sauce all over it make it palatable. Pretty disgusting meal

We had dinner there on a Thursday night. Service was quick and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately the food was rather poor. We ordered salt and pepper spare ribs and when I bit into the rib, the middle was cold and had to spite it out. The complaint to the waiter was quickly acknowledged and we got a new dish, however I was too mortified by the first bite. The replaced dish came out rather quickly, and the flour on the pork was a bit too much so we tasted more flour than the meat. The seasoning wasn’t for us, so this dish was definitely a let down. Also, I noticed this dish came out VERY quickly, I suspect the kitchen had cook a bit batch in the kitchen and dish them out as you order since it was the “recommended dish” on the menu.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hong Kong Chef Eat Maitland and let me tell you, it was an absolute treat for my taste buds. The food was hands down one of the best Chinese meals I’ve ever had! The flavors were bursting in every dish, from the succulent sweet and sour pork to the perfectly seasoned lo mein noodles.

Use to be great food. Now they take hours to deliver and food is terrible. The last straw was 100 dollar order took 3 hours to arrive and gave food poisoning to my whole family. Never again. I also deleted menu log as an app I was that disgusted.

Hong Kong Chef have gone above & beyond to compensate for situations totally out of their control. They were extremely busy on Easter Sunday night and my delivery went AWOL. The staff were very helpful, remade & resent my order with a bonus and a handwritten note. I’m very humbled and appreciate their sincerity. The food was delicious and hit the spot! Highly recommended for their food and customer service.
