We had a lovely dinner at Holy Duck, the food and accompanying sauce was delicious. We loved the popcorn chicken, it was crispy and piping hot and juicy in the inside. They didn’t taste oily at all. The dumplings and fried rice balls were also delicious. The crispy skin chicken was a little bit too dry for me by the sauce was yummy. They had a great range of drink including cocktails and mocktails. The staff were friendly and the fortunes cookies at the end were a nice touch. If you’re going in a group. They don’t split bills, just something to keep in mind.

I was really looking forward to the pancake duck, we ordered half but unfortunately it was very very very dry, I’d say the worst duck I’ve ever had.

As a real Chinese, I feel a bit sorry for my ancestor. I was expecting the real roast duck, but it turned out to be “super dry” crispy duck. We also ordered dim sum platter which taste more like the frozen dim sum anyway can buy from Coles and heat them up.

Went with a group of seven for lunch, and though I thought my duck burger was ok, most of the rest of the group were less impressed with their meals. Comments included too much duck sauce on the burger (and it was too sweet), and the noodles in another dish were overcooked. The duck itself was good but just wasn’t presented to its best advantage.

Similar to other reviewers. We really wanted this to be good and perhaps we didn’t order well but you can’t come to a place called Holy Duck and not expect the duck to be the best thing to order. Unfortunately the duck was very very dry which was disappointing and the garnishes of cucumber and scallions.

Chinese fusion restaurant with a focus on duck. The food was average at best and everything we ordered was a bit off.

The food was pretty good! We had a full peking duck (which is not the traditional style), sichuan style fried wings, crispy calamari, shrimp & pork dumplings and all.

Had a smaller banquet of the two but added a few things – couldn’t fault the food, the crispy duck was not only crispy but very moist – definitely something different to the standard Peking duck. Surrounds were neat and tidy. Service was somewhat lacklustre. Would recommend as a fun group venue, probably not date night material.

A great spot in Spice Alley – cocktails are tasty and service is friendly. An easy dining experience with a good selection of food (not just duck!). Try the beef and the duck pancakes – an outstanding choice for all.
