Enter through the side door into a modern Cafe with delicious cakes & coffee (I stopped for afternoon tea) and wonderfully friendly service. I even got to sit by the fire on a cold winter’s day, surrounded by olde worlde charm and a pressed tin ceiling! There’s also under cover outdoor seating for warm weather.

What a great find! Not only is Halls great at food and coffee, they’re also chock full of sweet vintage finds. And their deaf Dalmatian (who understands sign language) is super charming – even though he wants you to think he’s tough. Thoroughly enjoyed my toastie, in particular. Just finished breakfast here and it was great! We were greeted with a smile, everything was well presented, good size meals and the food was freshly cooked. We’ll be coming back next time we’re in the area for sure!

Stopped in for breakfast and had a lovely experience. Food was great, the eggs were perfectly cooked. The revamp looks great and there are some original design pieces that really stand out. Staff were so friendly amd we all had a great time
