OMG, I just have to tell you about my incredible experience at GYG tonight! The food was out of this world, like seriously mind-blowing. The flavors were so vibrant and the quality was top-notch. The food here will get you by and settle a Mexican craving… but it’s nothing to write home about it. The service is great though and the staff are always friendly, accommodating and I’ve seen them go the extra mile for children, older ones or people with disabilities. Their approach to customer service is really the prime reason I go back. I appreciate the effort they make to make this an inclusive family restaurant.

Food is NEVER consistent!!!! Some days good. Others days not. Also why is it like a night club and not like a restaurant? We Can never eat in and relax as the music is PUMPING so loudly!!! Does management have any idea about playing background music and not FULL BLAST while you have to yell your order to staff and vice versa. And you can’t chill and talk while dinning in? ITS NOT A MUSIC FESTIVAL OR SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE CLUB!!!

The customer service and food is inconsistent. I sat there for 15 mins (while quiet for 2 tacos and a chips….) to be told my food had been ready for over 5 mins and they never called it out. How lazy, to serve customers cold food and make them sit there waiting.

Long time customer of GYG and ordered a mini enchilada with slow cooked beef. After started to eat it noticed hardly any beef in it and went back to counter to let them know. Not willing to help or look into it. Very bad customer experience! Give this place a miss!
