I ordered a burrito through the app and when I reached to pickup my food, manager comes to me and said we don’t have mushrooms and I can’t make a burrito for you. I was like if you are out of anything in the store then why my order get accepted? Was sat on Manly beach when an amazing idea hit me; why not splurge for some mouth-watering Guzman y Gomez? After all, I have been a loyal customer for years now, thoroughly enjoying the cooking of franchises in the Ryde and Chatswood area. I decided to use the Guzman App to order my food, the total price being $33 for two nacho fries with slow cooked beef. I relished the very thought itself. I made my way, barefoot, from the shore of the beach back to the wharf in 34°c heat. Although such heat didn’t compare to the fire in my heart and ecstasy regarding the imminent meal I would devour without a second of hesitation. I quickly received my meal due to my preemptive online order, and made my way back to the beach to enjoy gorgeous shorefront views with my best friend. I trembled with excitement, practically sprinted down the Corso back to the sand.

Ordered at 6:30 and food came at 8 after being delayed from 7:30. Despite living not far away this was not good. The bag also had a hole in the bottom and beans leaked everywhere. Ordered the burritos & burrito bowl through Uber for about a year or so but the last 2 times were absolute rip off, no guacamole which Uber refunded me for but the salsa was like a diced tomato – full stop.
