You haven’t had brisket until you have tried GSB. The meat is cooked to perfection, very flavourful, and by far the best brisket I’ve ever had. It’s clear that the owners put their heart and soul into their cooking. They take so much care in the quality of produce and packaging/instructions. Lovely people too. We tried both the chicken and the brisket, along with the sweet and tangy coleslaw. Very easy to put together. With extremely delicious results. As a bonus we picked up our order from porter avenue pies and cakes and got some sweet treats for after our burgers. Supporting local is great – and even more worthwhile when it’s utterly delicious. So much so I got distracted and didn’t take a completed burger photo! Straight down the hatch instead!

It is not the first time I have had the Brisket from GSB and won’t be the last. After spending time in mid west USA it is heartwarming to find BBQ that truly rivals that of the US. I need to mention the smoked beans, amazing and a must order. If you haven’t tried BBQ in the States, no need to spend your money on a ticket, go to GSB.
