Beautiful country pub. The food was lovely, and the portions were good. The staff are nice too. We went there for lunch, and it wasn’t too busy. I loved the cheese garlic bread and the steak with mushroom sauce. If you have young kids, order pink lemonade for them. Our kids loved it! Oh! It’s very clean and well maintained. There’s no sticky floor or tables, and the toilets are clean too.

Lovely old building. Owner and staff make an effort. If you want the Hilton as the manager said go somewhere else lol. It’s a lovely old building. We loved it and perfect at the price you pay. I can’t fault the staff. Clean and full of knick nacks from the past. Great dining just downstairs and a Pub just over the road. Is it faultless no but remember its an old building near 200yrs old… but better than we expected. They were even polite when I set the fire alarm off burning the toast at 5am lol. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Hugable manager Eileen and Nicole the assistant. Down to earth people. Dogs allowed. We didn’t complain.

Great pub. Nice and warm on a cold night. Wait staff were fabulous, going above and beyond to rectify a mistake that could have happened anywhere. Food is decent pub fare, good value for money. Shout out to Keenan, the awesome waiter

This is straight up a BANGER of a restaurant, if you’re a local or a blow in, you’re going to want to come here. The place has an authentic relaxed country pub meets classy restaurant vibe. The service was 5 stars, with the waiters and bartenders going above and beyond with service and the Chef’s rustling up some great pub feeds. There is no doubt in my mind I’ll be back to Glen Innes with a fist full of sapphires and a belly full of dinner and drinks from the Great Central Hotel. See you later xxz

We enjoyed lunch at the hotel’s bistro/coffee shop. The meals were well presented and delicious. I was able to order a locally brewed beer with lunch which was really good. I would definitely recommend and return.
