The food just isn’t anything good. One star for the musician, one for the nice atmosphere and one for the pleasant staff. About the food: cauliflower pasta very plain, stake sandwich – steak tough and no flavor. Arancini was the only good food. Also got a hot chocolate, first of all there is a lot of choices so you would have to know how to make it better maybe, but I trusted the barista to know what they are doing and didn’t change anything and it was so bad. Just sugar and milk, not at all what you would expect in a chocolate factory…

By far, the best hot chocolate I’ve had in my life. No powder, they add pure melted chocolate in the glass. As you drink it, the chocolate melts to the top of the milk ensuring that you have chocolate in every sip.

Pleasant surroundings. Limited menu. Hot cocoa wasn’t hot. Scones not heated through. Liquorice milkshake was great. Mac and cheese burger was good.

Friendly and helpful. Nice food. Because of Covid19 no tours were allowed. People could watch through the glass and staff would answer questions if asked, also reading matter was posted on windows. The shop was open with a good variety of things and the liquorish and chocolate along with home-made jellies and pickles were on sale. After that and once outside for a $2 donation visitors could browse the old Ford cars. All worth the visit.

Disappointing cafe. Good location, slow service. Poached eggs were all overcooked on all four meals. ‘Hillman’ breakfast at $18 is very small, but Big Breakfast is well worth the $22. Very busy on weekend mornings so expect a wait.
