Food is fantastic, I recommend it to everybody. They do a great vegetable with oyster sauce. I haven’t ordered anything that I haven’t liked. Fast service, very reasonably priced, fresh, yum.

Food is OK. The old gentleman and the lady who do the cooking work really hard and are very polite and professional. Unfortunately, this evening there were three young blond ladies on the front counter. One put the paper roll into the EFTPOS machine wrongly and the three of them had to spend about 6 minutes working out how to get it out and get it working correctly. Then one of them misplaced the paper my order was written on and didn’t pass the information on to the chef. Then, they kept telling me different times my order would be ready. I waited and waited. One young lady kept apologizing verbally and although that was appreciated it didn’t make up for the length of the wait. When finally my order was complete I informed them of my displeasure with their service and that I wouldn’t be coming back. Another of the young ladies smugly and sarcastically said, “Oh, that’s OK! Have a great evening!” I told her their service was absolutely dreadful but she just kept making disingenuous comments urging me to enjoy my evening! Very disappointing as I’ve been going there for years. I will now have to find another Chinese restaurant with polite front counter staff who actually care about their customers or venture up there at lunch time when the old gentleman and the old lady are there by themselves. I guess if you want to have a laugh at the 3 Stooges like behaviour of the attractive blond ladies it could be a bit of free entertainment when there’s not much on TV!

I’m putting this here as reading some of the unhappy reviews on here really grinds my gears. I say to anyone leaving a bad review to be kind and constructive in criticism. Hospitality is a hard game. Sometimes we employ people who need to learn through failure and problem solve under pressure. These people work very hard. If you say to them your unhappy and you’re never coming back then don’t leave a review that hurts their business just #!*! Off and go sulk back in your own home. Please learn to spell! Understand these people offer a service that is often taken for granted with our expectations of how things could be. It is clear that anyone leaving a review that becomes a personal attack on others, needs to have a mental health check and/or a master-class in anger management. Unloading a vitriolic synopsis of your experiences is just a reflection of poor approach to problem solving. I think we can all agree a little kindness goes a long way. The world is damaged enough as it is . Change your approach. Make a difference.

I was so disappointed. The service was good and the staff were friendly. The rice was very good, but despite the Sweet and Sour having a nice flavour, there was only half the amount of sauce there should have been. The vegetables were cut into massive pieces, about 4 times the size they needed to be and some of the vegetables were cooked and some were raw. It was quite a disappointing meal.

I really like this place.Such consistent food,and such quick cooking and speedy delivery! I notice some people were saying the customer service was bad,I think it was fine,they are very real,no false niceness ,you just order,stay as long as you like,do your thing.I have never been there when its busy,but I like the simple vibe.You have to make your own fun,its about who you are eating with.I also love BYO..you chug a cold beer in one of their glasses while your mum or whoever has a glass of wine or champagne…
