Food was tasty: the waffles had a lot of flavours and the “Big Balls Benny” was a fulfilling breakfast dish 🙂

Cool (or hip, or both?) cafe. Colourful, eclectic interior and furniture. Good food, cold drinks and coffee. Space inside and some (limited). Also limited capacity in the kitchen it seemed. Make sure to bring some time or luck to order before the 10 people on the large table in the middle place their orders…

Stopped here on a drive up the coast towards Hunters Valley. What a great eclectic place to brunch. Excellent food quality and reasonably priced. We all enjoyed our food. The furnishings are a satisfyingly weird mix of old and recycled items which added to the experience. The toilets were interesting too – some outbuildings at the back with a sink in the open, but that just added to the charm. We enjoyed our visit, hope to return and would recommend it to all. Thanks.

The food is ok and reasonably priced but the venue is taking its rustic charm a little too far these days and need to give hygiene and cleanliness another look. Tables especially the outside ones can do with a wipe and some of the kitchen team sport greasy oily hair that has obviously not been washed in ages. Management seems absent from this venue. Charm is changing to dingy and I’d wait for some of the basic requirements of a restaurant to be observed before I return. The service was prompt and reasonably friendly.

We went here for breakfast on Anzac Day after the service. Even though they were quite busy our food came quickly and was served with a big smile

Glass onion is located in long jetty, about 20 minutes from the entrance. It’s rated no.2 out of 8 on concrete playground in the central coast worthy of a weekend trip. The cafe interior is old, run down, everything is vintage and every table is different as if all furnishings have been bought from a 2nd hand shop or picked up from a recycling centre. As old school as it looks, the food is actually very nice and modern. Very well presented, large portions, great flavours and ingredients used. The perky pancake is absolutely delicious which consists of 3 stacked pancakes, raspberries, crunchy quinoa, maple syrup and ice-cream. Looks great on the plate and taste great. Prices are reasonable and service is quick. The cafe is definitely a local favourite that gets a lot of touristy visitors also. Head down to long jetty wharf after breakfast or brunch for a nice walk down the jetty and enjoy the sweeping panoramic views.

What a great place, pancakes are sensational, coffee was great and such a lovely place to relax and have brunch. Although I would imagine on weekends it would be quite busy. The artwork on the walls is worth taking time to enjoy.

Really nice but also really busy cafe in Long Jetty. The review said it all. The dishes are really good and the sauces are spot on. The staff are really nice and helpful as well. We were told all the tables were booked but as soon as there was one available, they arranged it for us.
