Georges on Waymouth was established by George & Voula Kasimatis in November 2002, with the aim of serving fresh seasonal produce with impeccable service in a Mediterranean setting.
In the heart of Adelaide’s CBD, Georges is an undeniable crowd pleaser, continually striving for excellence amongst locals and interstate guests. The dining room is stylish and minimalist with high ceilings, wooden floorboards and multiple dining areas.
A distinctly Mediterranean menu takes advantage of seasonal fare with all our breads, pastas & desserts made on premise and we work with local producers to support local business. The wine list is extensive with over 20 wines by the glass and 200 bottle listings showcasing local and imported producers.

Amazing restaurant, awesome staff and food. The entree were the best grilled calamari and beef slices we’ve ever had. Steaks are cooked to perfection, tasty and tender. The service is awesome, they provided us chocolates and marshmallows as dessert with beautiful‘Happy Birthday’ written in chocolate on the plate. Will definitely be back and excited to try their other menu items!

Tried the Feed Me Menu and it turned out really amazing. All the five courses were worth every penny. Prawn Ravioli is the best dish here !!! Plus point: All meat forms are halal on the menu.

Came here for the first time for our anniversary and the whole experience was so delightful. George was lovely and so accomodating to our wants and dietary requirements. The staff were lovely and the food was top tier. They even wrote a ‘happy anniversary’ in chocolate on our plate for dessert. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice night out with good food, good wine and a lovely atmosphere.

Fish of the day was nice, with delicious mushrooms. Snapper was cooked perfectly. Bread was tasty with potatoes pieces inside. Lots of wine choices as well.

Impeccable service and a sumptuous feast! We enjoyed a superb evening at Georges on Saturday with 8 guests including an international friend. We chose the 5 course tasting menu which was amazing and found the evening relaxing and pleasant. The ambience at Georges is peaceful with soft music playing and the lighting dimmed. The service was truly exceptional. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend!

We’ve been going to George’s for years and it’s never disappointed. We found the food on Saturday night to be absolutely superb, even surpassing previous experiences. Servings are generous and easy to share if you want, or eat separately. A wonderful night!
